Forum Title: Less-dense Anso vs denser Evertouch
Hi, I am getting new carpets for all our bedrooms and am deciding between 2 Shaw carpets. I like 'Versatile Design' because it's denser, but the sales rep mentioned that Anso nylon was the better nylon. I'm just not sure I believe that Anso will hold up any better just because it's Anso. Can anyone shed any light on these? Which one would you choose? I'm not seeing much difference. Not sure but they may have added ounce weight to equal performance. I think the nylon is extruded in smaller fibers for the softer touch. I say equal, go for texture and color of choice.http://www.shawcts.com/training/quiz/Fiber101_Nylon.pdf

There is a difference between the 2 products just by looking at the specs you have put out there, But to me being a BR I wouldn't worry about it. Br's are low traffic. I'd go with what I liked the best. Daris

While there are technical differences between the two products I believe the Versatile Design is a better product. The sales rep is most likely getting a spiff (kick back) for selling Anso branded fibers. Go with your instincts, I believe they are correct. Hope this helps.
